My name is Fresca.  I was rescued from a really scary shelter along with my 4 newborn puppies.  Thankfully we are all safe now.  I lived on the streets and unfortunately had many litters over the years but this was the final bunch for me.  Living on the streets is extremely hard especially when you get run over by a car like I did.  I had a broken back leg and it finally healed all by itself.  I do have a limp but after 2 vets looked at my x-rays they say that it healed kind of crooked but I dont need surgery.  This was great news for me but unfortunately I do have heartworms but I am currently undergoing treatment to get rid of them.  I had lots of hairloss but my beautiful golden coat is now coming in and its so soft.  I never imagined that life could be so good in a foster home and I even have my own big soft doggie bed.  There are lots of other dogs here and I get along really well with all of them.  I am potty trained and crate just fine but foster mom doesnt think I need to be crated.  There is another mom and pups here but she was overwhelmed so I helped nurse them for a week or so since my babies all went to adoptive homes.  My foster mom says I am a really sweet girl and pretty chill.
