Meet Eli!  Eli was on the streets and had the good fortune to show up at one of our volunteer’s home. Within a few weeks he was humanely trapped, brought inside and cared for. He was SO grateful and showed it in his affection with his foster mom. As it turns out, Eli was also quite ill. He was brought to good health, vaccinated, neutered, given a healthy diet, love and attention.

 

Fast forward to today. Eli is healthy, extremely loving and maybe even a little bit spoiled!  He will “pop wheelies” to get his head into your hand for petting and also quite the playful clownish boy. He’s been through clicker training, learned some manners to take the rough edges off of his street persona (but still keeps his “street cred”).  He’s a big cat, a  gorgeous medium haired boy with beautiful soft fur and clear green eyes. Eli lives with animal-friendly gentle children and multiple dogs. Eli will do best in a forever home as the only cat as he has shown “alpha tendencies” with other cats. He sleeps with his foster mom and follows her room to room, talking to her throughout the day.
