Introducing John Bates, a 7-week-old Lab/Collie/Cattle Dog mix who’s the perfect combination of all those amazing breeds — intelligent, athletic, loyal, and full of personality! 

John Bates is a curious little guy who loves to sit and observe the world around him just as much as he enjoys jumping in to play with his siblings. He’s a quick learner who’s already figuring out that outside time means potty time, and he’s well on his way with both potty training and socialization.

This bright pup is treat motivated, making training a total breeze — and he loves to stay busy! Whether it’s chasing balls, playing tug, or occasionally chewing on his foster mom’s shoes (hey, nobody’s perfect!), John Bates always finds a way to have fun.
